When I say this, I mean I’m making the tasks I do regularly easier to do by looking at things like workflows and reducing the amount of effort to complete recurring elements of a task. I’ve often used the term “UXing my life”. While there are plenty of guides out there that centre on an aesthetically pleasing look for your home screen, I much prefer functionality. My favourite feature is setting up the dynamic home screens based on parameters I’ve set. Once set up, you can control which apps can send you notifications and when. Basically, Apple introduced this feature to give you greater control over your smartphone.
